Beginning Sunday, September 19 and continuing through the winter as the weather allows, we will offer a 25-minute, socially distant, in-person worship opportunity for families at 9am on the lawn. Masks and social distancing are required. Following the service, join us for coffee and donuts and fellowship time.
We have heaters to provide warmth for those who wish to join us on the lawn. This service is also broadcast on 92.3FM so you can tune in from your car in the parking lot if you prefer. If you choose this option, Fr. James will joyfully distribute communion to you and your family in your vehicle.
About Holy Apostles Sunday School – in non-COVID times
Sunday school is a fun, safe, and age appropriate environment where children can learn about the greatest story ever: God’s story of love for everyone.
We use the Whirl Classroom curriculum created by Sparkhouse Publishing. This is a multi-media and interactive curriculum that encourages creativity and holistic learning, while emphasizing the joy of learning about faith.
Holy Apostles also believes that our children benefit from learning to worship and pray, listening to great music, and learning together with parents and supportive friends of all ages. This is why we have developed a schedule to ensure that our children have time devoted to both age appropriate programing and inter-generational worship.
We look forward to returning to this form of Sunday School as the current pandemic wanes and we can return to safe, indoor gatherings.
