Partnerships are an important way that we witness to the saving power of God in Christ. We are honored to work along side our partners for the common good and toward the Kingdom of God.
The Darby Mission is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania that serves the community of Darby Borough through community meals, feeding programs, after school programs, and innovative youth initiatives. Holy Apostles is a committed partner of the Darby Mission. We have been enriched by our ongoing friendship with our neighbors and friends in Darby, and proud to host community meals, and help spread God’s love in any way we can.
Holy Apostles and the Mediator
HAM located at 51st and Spruce Streets in West Philadelphia is our mother parish. We owe our inception to Holy Apostles and the Mediator who supported us financially and spiritually until 1968. About once a quarter we plan joint worship services together.
For over 25 years, Holy Apostles has been partnering with Connect-by-Night to house our friends and neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. For one month a year, we welcome guests to sleep in our church building, offer occasions for them to join in worship, and share food, toiletries, and other hospitality items.
Havertown Village Project
The Havertown Village Project is a non-profit that supports, educates, and advocates for parents and caregivers of children suffering from mental health/related diagnoses. The group meets at Holy Apostles monthly. For more information and to be connected to the group, contact the church office.
La Congregacion de la Iglesia Episcopal San Pedro y San Pablo, Mixco, Guatemala – Rev. Juan José Salazar.
