+ MORNING PRAYER ON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES
By the time this email reaches your inbox, we will have left the Holy Land. But the memories will be with us for a lifetime. On our 11th day, we drove to the Mount of Olives and walked down the first half of the Palm Sunday route. This photo is taken from the Dominus Flevit church (the Lord wept – Luke 19:41: As he came near and saw the city [Jerusalem], he wept over it.) Just to the left of the cross, through the window, you can see the gold dome of the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount.
