Acts of the Apostles – 06/05/2022

Week of June 5, 2022

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.
And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind,
and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them.
Acts 2:1-3

We have received a donation of rolls from our friends at Centrella’s and we’d like to get some folks together in the church kitchen after the picnic on Sunday, June 12th to put together some hoagies that can be taken over to Project Share for lunch the next day!

Cassie says: “This would be a great project for male-bonding, don’t you think?”

Lunch meat and condiments provided. All we need are willing hands to make and wrap the sandwiches. Let Cassie know if you can help out.

To address issues related to Gun Violence, we have partnered with the Red Cross to host a Blood Drive. We have a goal of 3 donors per church. By donating blood, you are helping to save a life. Gun Violence victims (including suicide) require 10 times more units of blood than non-gun related injuries. We can make a difference!

We will have free Rita’s water ice, childcare, and a gun violence awareness table which will have gun locks and information on simple ways you can help.
