DARBY MISSION
May Food Donations
Last chance to bring in your breakfast cereal donations this week. Please drop off by Tuesday, May 17 so we can deliver them in time for distribution on the 18th. We’ve collected well over 60 boxes so far!
PROJECT SHARE
Lunches
We will be providing weekly lunches to Project Share during the month of May. Lunches are prepped for delivery on Monday or Tuesday of each week.
We are still looking for help with lunch prep for the week of May 30. For the Memorial Day holiday we’re going with a picnic theme. We have sweets covered with cookies and water ice. For the main entrée, we’d like to provide hot dogs and buns, pre-cooked and then wrapped so they can reheat them on premises. In keeping with the picnic theme, we’d also like to provide two sides like macaroni salad or potato salad, etc. If you can help with any of the prep for this date, please sign up on the Outreach SignUpGenius page or talk to Cassie!
Many thanks to our lunch volunteers so far: Pat Dyer, Pat Smyth, Michelle Gallagher, Vickie Forker, Linda Day and Piper Cherry. To sign up, go to the Outreach SignUpGenius page.
For more information, catch up with Cassie at Coffee Hour,or reach her via email: grammysqrd@gmail.com; or text: 610-608-5440

Where in the World?
Linda Day writes: We came upon this church at the foot of the Teton Mountains built in 1925. It was like an oasis – serene, spiritual, simple and beautiful. With the view of the Tetons behind the cross, it might be hard to focus on the sermon, however! There was outdoor seating with an awning that could cover the area. We assumed the priest would simply open the windows and let the sermon flow to the outdoors.

+ FIRST REVIVAL OF 2022 – Next Weekend, Friday May 20 & Saturday May 21
A revival is a gathering of Christians who come together for worship, music, inspiration and fellowship. It is marked by strong preaching and uplifting music and creates an opportunity for individuals to make commitment of faith or otherwise renew their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Why should I attend? Few of us are feeling our best right now. The pandemic, political division, economic stress and the spectre of war have left us feeling anxious, depressed and disconnected. We need a lift! We need more than a lift, we need to be revived! If you are longing for something positive and uplifting, if you are longing to find a deeper sense of meaning and purpose, if you are longing to know the peace that comes only from God, then you should come to the revival.
What should I expect? A gathering of hundreds from around our region, the revivals will be filled with praise, uplifting music, inspired preaching and prayer. There will be areas set aside for individual prayer requests, confession and the chance to talk about faith. There will also be food and other fun surprises.
You can come for one or both days and stay for as long as you care to. Children are most welcome!
Come alive with Jesus!
Church of the Good Samaritan – 212 W Lancaster Ave, Paoli, PA 19301
6-8 p.m. on both 5/20 and 5/21
Come and see!
