DARBY MISSION

We have two special projects we are working on over the next month or so with the mission:

Darby Police Book Read & Give Away – Darby police officers will be reading to the children in the after school program. The two books selected are Brothers of the Knight by Debbie Allen and Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. The officers will read the books to the children and then hand out copies for the kids to keep. We will be ordering the needed books from a local retailer.

Period products – We will be providing needed feminine hygiene products for girls in the after school program. To best serve the need, we will be making bulk orders of the necessary items.

To contribute to either or both of these projects, you can make a directed donation. Please make your check payable to the church and in the memo write: Outreach – Books or Outreach – Period

+ It’s Stewardship Season!
Please remember to return your pledge card by

THIS SUNDAY, November 21st.

You can mail it to the office (a stamped, addressed envelope was included in the November newsletter) or drop it in the offering plate – or use Online form in Realm. If you have any questions about any of this, contact Fr. James. Thank you for your faithfulness!
