We have two special projects we are working on over the next month or so with the mission:

Darby Police Book Read & Give Away – Darby police officers will be reading to the children in the after school program. The two books selected are Brothers of the Knight by Debbie Allen and Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. The officers will read the books to the children and then hand out copies for the kids to keep. We will be ordering the needed books from a local retailer.

Period products – We will be providing needed feminine hygiene products for girls in the after school program. To best serve the need, we will be making bulk orders of the necessary items.

To contribute to either or both of these projects, you can make a directed donation. Please make your check payable to the church and in the memo write: Outreach – Books or Outreach – Period

+ It’s Stewardship Season!
Please remember to return your pledge card by

THIS SUNDAY, November 21st.

You can mail it to the office (a stamped, addressed envelope was included in the November newsletter) or drop it in the offering plate – or use Online form in Realm. If you have any questions about any of this, contact Fr. James. Thank you for your faithfulness!

Join us next Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 11:15 AM (following the 10AM service) for the 2021 Advent Wreath Making Celebration. All ages are welcome. Please bring your friends and neighbors along to this joyful event kicking off the season of Advent! You are invited to make your wreath at the celebration or pick up supplies to make it at home. The event is free, but donations are accepted.
This is a rain or shine event! If the weather cooperates, we will be setting up tables on the lawn. If inclement weather should come our way, we will move inside to the Parish Hall and request that you wear a mask while in the building.

Prayer Retreat

We will be holding a retreat for the Prayer Guild and anyone else who would like to join us on Saturday, December 11th from 9am-1pm. Our scheduled speaker is Treva McLaughlin who will be sharing with us about different aspects of prayer. The day will start with Morning Prayer and will have time for silent reflection as well as sharing and response time. Our time together will conclude with a celebration of the Eucharist, followed by lunch. For more information or to let us know you’ll be attending, please contact the church office.

At 9AM each Sunday through November, as weather allows, we are holding a 25-minute service at on the lawn geared towards families with children. If you are not comfortable worshipping inside the church building at this time, you are welcome to join us.

2022 Church Calendars are now available on the narthex table. If you are unable to get to the church and would like to have a calendar, please contact Katie (610-642-6617) and she’ll arrange to get one out to you.

Intercession brings before God the needs of others (BCP p.857)

We look forward to seeing you back at church if you feel comfortable there. Masks are required in the church building. Services will also continue to be livestreamed on our YouTube Channel. Be sure to hit the SUBSCRIBE button!

During this time, the rector and trained Eucharistic ministers may visit others to bring them the Eucharist. Meeting in outdoor spaces of homes will be preferred. Contact Fr. James if you would like to schedule a visit.
