Announcements

Painting with Goats:

The Philly Goat Project is holding a fundraiser at Holy Apostles on
Saturday, May 29, from 2-4pm

Come and paint a picture with the goats, buy some Philly Goat Project stuff (t-shirts, hats, etc.), and consider giving to the people that brought a lot of fun to our church this month.

+ Picnic Prep –  Please contact Suzanne Lees at suzannelees@yahoo.com or via cell 610-220-7120 if you would be willing to help set up tables and chairs prior to the 10am service on the day of the picnic, June 6. Thank you!

+ Altar Flowers Cost Increase – For several years, we have been paying a very low price for our altar flowers. Our florist will triple the price on June 1st, bringing them in line with other florists in the area, citing increased costs. Therefore, the price of the weekly memorial flowers will be raised to $45.00 (covering half the cost) starting June 1st.  Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

+ Flower Guild Leader – We are looking for someone to head up the Flower Guild. If you are interested in taking on this role, please contact Patty Wertz – psw17@comcast.net – (610) 909-2826

+ Parish Prayer Guild – You can learn about this group in the May 16 Note from the Rector and you are encouraged to consider making a commitment to this group. To join or if you have questions, please contact Nancy Haas (610-220-8792) or James.

+ Have a Prayer Request? There is now a form on our website that you can use

+ Flag disposal – Between now and June 27th, you may bring your old flags and leave them in the designated container in front of the church to be included in a flag burning ceremony held by Jim Jervis on Monday, June 28. This ceremony will include the flag that flew over St. Faith’s for many years.

+ The Sensory Garden in Wynnewood Valley Park is looking for help watering during the summer months.  All equipment is on site.  Anyone interested in helping can reach out to Deb Stambaugh  (505) 980-4300

+ Church Service Attendance – Masks and appropriate distancing will continue to be observed. We look forward to seeing you back at church if you feel comfortable there. Services will also continue to be livestreamed.
